Q. Can I take the online exam at home?
A. Yes. APMG offers online exams through their Accredited Training Organizations (ATO). As an ATO, Yellowhouse will book you into the exam with ProctorU when you register and provide proof of completing your APMG course.
Q. What kind of computer do I need for the online exam?
A. You need a computer with a working camera so you can be identified before taking the exam. You need to be able to show you are the only person in the room when taking your exam. When you register, we send you the link to ProctorU to test your system.
Q. What web browser do I need for the online exam?

Q. Can I take a sample on-line exam first?
A. APMG offers sample exams here. You can take them as many times as you like.
Q. Where can I take a paper-based exam?
A. Yellowhouse offers exams at the Hilton Hotel in Brisbane. When you register, we provide all the details.
Q. How do you know I have completed my course?
A. Yellowhouse candidates, when you register for the exam, we will check your online course details from your portal.
Q. Is it an open book exam?
A. Foundation courses are closed book exams.
A. Practitioner exams are open book. You can only use the official APMG reference text, either in hard copy or as an official PDF version. See Bookshop details here. Yellowhouse can supply hard copy and electronic options for you.
Q. How do I book an Exam Centre exam (Brisbane only)?
A. When you register, we provide you with a Voucher that you can redeem to take your paper Exam.
Q. Can I change from an Online to Exam Centre exam after I register?
A. Yes. If you change your mind, you can contact us and get a Voucher to redeem for the exam.
Q. Can I change from an Exam Centre to Online exam after I register?
A. Yes. You can redeem your Voucher with Yellowhouse and take the online exam instead.
Q. Does my registration have an expiry date?
A. Yes. If we purchase a Voucher, it expires six months after the date of your registration. This will be printed on the Voucher.
If you choose the on-line exam, this expires in six months as well. If you change your mind, you can re-register, but your opportunity expires six months after your date of registration.
Q. Can I get a refund if I decide not to take the exam?
A. This exam opportunity does not come with a refund. When you register, you are required to check a box stating that you have read the terms and conditions related to this opportunity.
Q. How do I get my results?
A. You receive interim scores after completing your exam. Official results are sent to you by Yellowhouse after confirmation from APMG. Successful candidates are listed in the APMG Successful Candidates Register and you also receive an Official Certificate.
Q. What happens if I fail the exam?
A. Not everyone passes. You should make sure you are well-prepared for your exam. If you are not successful, you can re-sit at any time you choose. You simply need to go through the same registration process again.
Q. What happens if there is a problem with the on-line exam and it times out, or if I lose Internet access for some reason?
A. ProctorU and APMG provides 24-7 phone and e-mail support, so you can contact them in the event of a technical problem. They will consider your situation.
Q. How do I redeem my Voucher to take a Public Exam?
A. When you register, we will provide all the information and links by e-mail with your Voucher.
