The purpose of Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices (P3O) is to provide universally applicable guidance that will enable individuals and organisations to successfully establish, develop and maintain appropriate P3M support structures.
Foundation equips you with an understanding of PMO functions – plus principles, processes and techniques to facilitate effective portfolio, programme and project management. It is a pre-requisite for the Practitioner qualification. The 70 question, 60 minute closed-book exam has a 50% pass mark (35/70).
Practitioner builds on the understanding developed at Foundation level, providing you with the knowledge to apply and tailor PMO functions and services to your organisation. The 80 question, 2.5 hour open-book exam has a 50% pass mark (40/80).
